Access to the refuge
Located in the heart of the legendary La Grave off-piste area, the refuge is easily accessible by ski from the cable car’s upper station, at an altitude of 3,200 metres.
Ski touring enthusiasts can also reach the refuge from the village of La Grave in around 4 hours, with 1,100 metres of elevation gain. Depending on the conditions, this route is ideal for those looking to experience ski touring for the first time.
You are entering a high-mountain environment and an unpatrolled area. Snow conditions and weather can change very quickly. Before setting off, don’t hesitate to ask the ski patrol team at the cable car departure station for the latest information.
Don’t forget your safety equipment: an avalanche transceiver (DVA), shovel and probe are essential.
A little extra: If you stay overnight at the refuge, the last cable car ride of the day (3:30 pm) is included when you purchase your lift pass for the following day.

Food & Drinks
After a great morning on the snow, come and recharge your batteries on the refuge terrace. Enjoy warm and comforting homemade cuisine, prepared with care.
On the menu: soups, omelettes, tartiflette, daily specials…

Accommodation
Spend a night out of time at the refuge, right in the heart of winter.
The winter season comes with its own unique features: as the spring is frozen, the refuge has no running water. There is therefore no shower or sink… but an authentic mountain experience that you won’t soon forget !
